If you think a page on Game3rb links to your copyrighted work without permission, send us a notice. We’ll act on it.

How to send a DMCA notice

Email: [email protected]

Include these 6 things:

  1. Your full name, role and contact details (email, plus a phone number or mailing address).
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you say was infringed.
  3. The exact URL of the Game3rb page or link you want removed.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you’re the copyright owner or authorized to act for them, under penalty of perjury.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Once we get a complete notice, we remove the content within 48 hours.

If your notice is missing something, we’ll email you to ask for it. That can slow things down.

Counter-notice

Think we removed something by mistake? Email us at the same address with:

  1. The URL of the removed content.
  2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the removal was a mistake.
  3. Your name, address, phone number and email.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you’re outside the United States, any court where we can be found), and that you’ll accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

We forward a valid counter-notice to the original sender. We may restore the content 10 to 14 business days later, unless that person tells us they’ve filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

If a source keeps getting reported for infringing content, we remove its links from Game3rb for good.

False claims

Sending a notice you know is false can have legal consequences. Make sure you hold the rights before you submit one.
