Nullpoint Protocol is a co-op boss-rush roguelite from Everbloom Games, built around a simple pitch: give players the intensity of a high-level MMO raid without the hours of grinding that usually come attached. No leveling treadmill, no gear score checks. You load in, you fight, and the fight is the whole point.

Enter as a Hunter tracking down the Void Shepherds, creatures pulling entire planets and stars into nothing. Each one plays like a raid boss compressed into a single, focused encounter. Attack patterns you have to learn. Timing windows you have to read. Safe spots that shift as the fight escalates. Miss a dodge in the later stages and it costs you the run.

Every Void Shepherd you take down drops a random ability upgrade. Meteor strikes one run, turrets the next, healing kits after that. None of it repeats the same way twice, so builds come together on the fly instead of following a script you memorized ahead of time. Between fights, you’ll hit shops to shape your loadout further, hunt optional targets for extra rewards, or gamble on mystery events that can flip an entire run sideways.

Play solo or bring up to three friends along, online or on the couch. Difficulty scales to match your group, so a four-player squad and a lone Hunter both get a fight that feels earned rather than trivial or impossible.

The road to the final boss, Void Genesis, runs through escalating clusters of planets, each layered with more encounters as you go deeper. Early planets keep things simple. Later ones stack fights, shops, and events until every decision matters. It’s built for the “one more run” loop: short enough to fail fast, deep enough to keep adjusting your approach until a build finally clicks.

Everbloom Games built its name on Minecraft Marketplace work for partners like Disney and Dungeons & Dragons. Nullpoint Protocol is their first original release outside that ecosystem, and it shows a studio applying years of production polish to something entirely their own.
