Lethal Company is a cooperative survival horror game where up to four players work together as contracted employees tasked with scavenging abandoned industrial facilities on deserted moons. Your objective is simple: collect enough valuable scrap to meet the Company’s profit quota before the deadline. However, every expedition is filled with deadly creatures, environmental hazards, and unpredictable encounters that turn even the most routine salvage mission into a fight for survival. Communication, teamwork, and quick decision-making are essential if your crew hopes to return alive.
The gameplay revolves around exploring procedurally generated facilities, searching for valuable loot, and safely transporting it back to your ship before nightfall. Every moon offers a different layout, making each expedition unique. Players must carefully manage inventory space, monitor battery-powered equipment such as flashlights and scanners, and avoid dangerous monsters that react differently depending on player behavior. Some creatures can be escaped through stealth, while others require fast thinking, teamwork, or complete avoidance. As the Company raises its quota, crews must visit increasingly dangerous moons where higher rewards come with much greater risks.
