Origament: A Paper Adventure puts you inside a single sheet of paper with somewhere to be. Guided by a mysterious cat that seems to know more than it’s letting on, you travel through seven distinct worlds, each one a different era and setting: a quiet moonlit garden, the rooftops of old Venice, a Wild West town caught in a tornado. Every world tells its own small story, and every level hides a clue pointing toward the bigger one waiting at the end.

The hook is transformation. Your letter shifts between four paper forms depending on what the level demands. Roll as a ball across open ground. Glide as a paper plane over rooftops and canyons. Drift as a boat down a stream. Cut through obstacles as a shuriken, smashing stalactites or racing ahead of a mine cart. Switching forms is instant, no lag between shapes, so movement stays fluid even when a level asks you to chain three transformations together in a few seconds.

Each world plays with its own rhythm. Some stretches feel almost meditative: drifting quietly through still water, watching light hit the paper texture just right. Others throw real pressure at you, like a stealth section built around dodging cowboys, or a maze crawling with rats in the dark. It’s not a hard game by design. Checkpoints are frequent and the difficulty stays gentle, but the variety keeps each world from blurring into the last.

Puzzles show up too, though sparingly: box-pushing, color-matching, the occasional light logic challenge. They’re not the main event. The bulk of what you’re doing is situational platforming, reacting to whatever the current world throws in front of you.

Coins scattered through each level unlock new paper types and, in a nice touch, actual origami designs you can fold yourself with real paper once you’ve found them in-game. The main story runs around 3 hours, with a stack of optional challenges left over for anyone who wants to linger.
